Jack was sixteen. Jack didn’t like people nor the world around him, preferring to paint and listen to opera. When his father shot his mother in front of Jack and then blew his own head off, Jack took photographs of the carnage.
These photographs were the foundation for Jack’s adult art; but he couldn’t make his art work without real people – real dead people.

After a police raid goes tragically wrong and a 9-year-old girl is horrendously killed, Detective Tarrant’s callous dismissal of her death as “collateral damage” triggers a brutal and meticulously planned revenge campaign fourteen years later.

Influenced by the samurai code of bushido, they descend into anarchy as their actions challenge the world, forcing Saya, the pragmatic second-in-command, to question their extreme path.
